PRESENTATION OF CEVA LOGISTICS
An integrated network, a turnover of 7 Billion Dollars, a widespread presence in over 160 countries and around 58,000 employees worldwide: CEVA Logistics is one of the leading companies in the international logistics scene, able to provide end-to-end services, thanks to the two lines of business perfectly integrated, Contract Logistics and Freight Management. In Italy, CEVA is the market leader in Contract Logistics (Warehouse and Road Transport), with approx. 60 logistics poles and more than 800.000 square meters of warehouses, approx 120 customers, 1,000 employees and more than 3,000 indirec resources.
In one year, CEVA Italy manages almost 2 million of shipments for domestic distribution.
For the Freight Management business line, which includes the handling of products and materials by Air and Sea, in line with customer requirements in terms of costs, speed, reliability and security, numbers are important: 33.000 TEU’s shipped by Ocean , and over 18 million kg shipped by Air.

To meet the new requirements of Customers, CEVA Italia, was the first Provider who introduced the principle of collaborative logistics. Based on this principle, the Company has launched logistics platforms specialized on the same Sector which can reduce costs from economies of scale, having the skills and the best practices to give a suitable reaction to Market fluctuations challenges.
