Same-Day Delivery: for many but not for everyone. A field analysis.

The search for same-day delivery services on Google has doubled in the last year and is one of the three most significant trends in search results. According to Metapack, during 2018, approximately 23% of Online Shoppers, among the options offered, selected same-day delivery. At the same time, however, 48% of them demand the freedom to choose when to receive their orders and to modify the shipping details after the purchase has been finalized. These numbers, enriched by the analysis of Milkman’s own operational experience, confirm how quickly needs change inside the fluid eCommerce scenario.
